Ash & Ember Foundation exists to rebuild recovery systems with dignity, equity, and long-term support at the center.

We are a women-centered nonprofit addressing the broken systems that surround addiction, incarceration, and reentry—particularly for those who’ve historically been failed by them.

Our mission is to replace fragmented, punitive approaches with a trauma-informed model that prioritizes safety, stability, and transformation. We work at the intersection of recovery, housing, behavioral health, and community systems—building solutions that are rooted in lived experience and designed for real-world impact.

This isn’t just about services. It’s about systems.
And we believe those systems can be rebuilt—with the people they were meant to serve.
